71. This week, I finished Deuteronomy. It was interesting to read Moses' speeches; his words of wisdom for Israel before he died. They were on the brink of entering the Promised Land, a long awaited and exciting event. God spoke through Moses, reminding his people of the laws they must follow upon entering Canaan. God goes out of his way to show them his love and prepare them for this important time in Israel's history.

The book of Joshua is up next- I'm already a few chapters in, and enjoying the beginning of the historical books. Looks like I'm slacking on the rest of my list, though.. I need to paste it to my forehead!
